FAQ – Frequently asked questions about the Easy Driver cocktail

The Easy Driver cocktail is considered the quintessential ‘driver’s cocktail’ and is a wonderfully fruity, fresh and alcohol-free drink. This premium mocktail delights the palate with its perfectly balanced blend of sun-ripened mandarin, exotic passion fruit and tangy-fresh lemon, elegantly complemented by the subtle sweetness of grenadine. When mixed with orange juice, it creates a full-bodied fruit experience.
Preparation with the Easy Driver cocktail base takes no time at all, as it is a highly concentrated mix. The ideal mixing ratio with orange juice is 1:2.
  • Preparation: Pour 5 cl of Easy Driver (concentrate) and 10 cl of orange juice (freshly squeezed or 100% fruit juice is recommended) into a shaker (e.g. Boston Shaker) together with ice cubes. Shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds. Then strain into a long drink cocktail glass (35 cl) with or without ice. Preparation time is just 2–3 minutes.
The Easy Driver cocktail base is extremely economical. Using the standard recipe of 5 cl concentrate and 10 cl juice plus plenty of ice, a single 0.7-litre bottle yields exactly 14 drinks, each with a volume of 0.3 to 0.35 litres. This makes the product a cost-effective and reliable option for professional bars, family gatherings, children’s parties or garden parties.
To ensure the premium quality and freshness of the fruit flavours over the long term, the Easy Driver Cocktail Premix is gently pasteurised during production. Unopened, it has a long best-before date of 36 months (3 years). The exact best-before date is located on the lower neck of the bottle, directly above the back label. Once opened, the product can still be used for approx. 6 months if stored in a cool place.
Serve the Easy Driver cocktail in a classic long drink cocktail glass (0.3–0.35 l). The drink looks particularly attractive in glasses with a wide rim, as this allows both the aroma and the appearance to develop to their full potential. It can be garnished as desired with a slice of lemon and a straw, or optionally with fresh mint or orange zest.
The versatile recipe for the Easy Driver cocktail invites creative adaptations:
  • Driver Deluxe: Mix the concentrate with freshly squeezed mandarin juice instead of orange juice.
  • Frozen Easy Driver: Shake the ingredients with plenty of crushed ice for an extra cool fruity kick.
  • Light version: Optionally, top up the finished shaken drink with a little soda water or mineral water.
  • More professional tips: An extra splash of lime adds extra freshness, whilst a dash of grenadine further enhances the colour intensity. Colourful sugar rims or coloured straws are ideal for children’s parties.
